Privacy
Sydera is built to keep personal data to a minimum. This page describes what we do — and do not do — with data from the website, and especially from the «Oppdrag: menneske» game (sydera.io/oppdrag).
The game itself stores nothing
When you play «Oppdrag: menneske» we store no answers, no choices, no IP address, no identity and no tracking. The game runs in your browser and sends nothing to us along the way. Play as many times as you like.
The ending — an invitation on your initiative
At the very end of the game, you may choose to leave an email if you want to hear from us. This is optional and fully opt-in: a panel with two non-prechecked options («Tell me when Policy Scan opens» and/or «We're considering a pilot — tell me more»), an email field and a «No thanks» button that closes the panel without sending anything.
If you submit the form, we collect: your email address, which of the two interests you ticked, the text you consented to, a timestamp for the consent, and a source marker (source=GAME) that lets us tell game submissions apart from other channels.
Legal basis
We use the email solely for what you ticked: to notify you when Policy Scan opens, and/or to reach out about a pilot. The legal basis is consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time — see «Your rights» below.
Data processor
The submission is handled by Formspree (formspree.io), acting as our data processor for form submissions. Formspree stores the submission and forwards it to us by email. We share these data with no one else.
Retention
We retain your email for as long as the purpose you ticked is active — typically until Policy Scan has launched and you have received the notice, or until a pilot conversation has concluded. You can request deletion at any time, and we delete on our own once the purpose is fulfilled.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw your consent. Email hei@sydera.no and we'll take care of it. You can also file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
No analytics, no tracking cookies
The sydera.io site uses no third-party analytics or tracking cookies. Technical cookies may be used to remember your language preference locally in your browser; they are not sent to us.
